Weather forecast has been an integral part of our life. We always check the weather to see if it’s going to be a sunny day, cloudy day or rainy. As we check the clock, our second eye quickly slips through the day’s weather to make sure we are dressed appropriately. But what if the weather forecast we so much rely on goes wrong. For folks living in the areas where the weather throughout year remains the same (read as California or Florida), a slight change in weather forecast doesn’t pose significant threat whereas mid-west and other states where the weather takes unexpected turns, accurate weather forecast is key to save oneself from natural calamity.
When the bureau forecasts rain and this arrives…. check this and you will totally freak out.
When the sudden storm has arrived, the scene was no different than the famous movie Interstellar. I guess Hollywood movies take cues from failed Weather forecast to built the movie plot. Folks were bracing for the rain, but instead they have witnessed strong wind and dusty clouds.
Even the dog seemed to be freaking out. Unpredictable and moody weather is a routine in rural and seclude areas. That’s scene is truly heartbreaking and was a serious reality check for the folks staying nearby.
For the folks standing nearby the only reprieve is at least they’ve got some excellent canine company. These scenes are none other the famous haboobs in Arizona. In some cases these haboobs are harbinger of the heavy rain that follows afterwards.
This is what is looked when the Haboob was over which was immediately followed by rain. Few hours later, the rainfall made the entire city wet but also got rid of those scary dust clouds for good.
For the folks living in Arizona the haboobs are now part of life and scenes like this happens once or twice a year. Thinking of moving to Phoenix, get ready to put on your brave mask as Arizona is not for chicken heart people.
