A viral video of Firefall at Yosemite is trending on microblogging site. The same view that you may have seen earlier gets a new looks when you watch this video. The video has so far collected over 3 million views and became a new trend setter. You may already know about the Firefall at Yosemite. It is deemed as one of the most admired natural wonder. The Firefall is no different than any other waterfalls except it appears as a freefalling volcano in the daylight. The waterfall is strategically situated at such position that when the sunlight illuminates its water, it gives volcano like appearance.
Scientific explanation – the Firefall water is full of barium, aluminum and strontium from geoengineering making to look like fire. There are plenty of cloud formations that look like this too. Chemicals mixed with the sunlight give this look.
Take a look at these images and it will give you the feel of watching a volcano. Isn’t it a natural optical illusion and not actually fire!
The funny thing about this Firefall is that during winter the mountain though is covered with the snow, a very little sunlight is sufficient to give lava falling appearance to the Firefall. If you are a first time visitor to the Firefall, at first you will be scared and may start running amock thinking you have witnessed the volcano eruption or the apocalypse is near, but don’t worry the water of Firefall is safe as any other river or rapids.

So next time if you are planning to visit Yosemite, do not forget to visit the Glacier point or Firefall.
The Sunlight can truly be magical and has the Midas touch. See how the Sunlight has transformed this giant Cruse into a golden pot. Looking at this picture, you will feel that the whole cruise is made of gold. Again, this is another example of natural optical illusion.
On the other hand is similar scene where you will see the actual fire, the only difference here is unlike the Firefall the fire is going up the mountain. Hope the Australian government’s efforts to contain the fire will become effective soon.
